$53.2K – $65.2K a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Access Microsoft Outlook Customer service Writing skills Mid-level CMMS High school diploma or GED Analysis skills Organizational skills Computer skills Manufacturing Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description What We’re Searching for : A Maintenance Planner for our Rural Hall, NC plant who will be responsible to assist the maintenance lead/manager in the direction, planning, purchasing orders, and scheduling of functions in the maintenance department in a safe, hazard-free work environment while selectively supervising personnel, quality, and equipment conditions in a cost-effective manner. Possession of strong organizational skills is a necessary component of this position.
How you will contribute:
Identifies work needs and develops plan for the Weekly Work Schedule Ensures all work requests are properly documented for safe work practices Maintains equipment lists and histories Maintain all reports pertaining to material usage, labor hours, backlog, and craft utilization. Prepare summaries of projects and work orders as needed to analyze maintenance and labor costs Schedule preventive and predictive tasks for each shift Coordinate maintenance schedule with Production Review incoming work order requests and prioritize work orders. Orders materials needed for work orders Organize tools and materials needed for each work request, Establishes and communicates Maintenance plan and procedures with Engineering Manager Anticipates and eliminates potential delays by handling long and short-range planning Works with senior engineers to develop more cost-effective repair solutions and lower overall maintenance costs Determine appropriate level of planning for each new work order. Inform Engineering Manager of abnormal or critical situations Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is preferred 5-7 years of Manufacturing experience is preferred Strong customer service skills required Strong computer skills:
CMMS, MS
Word, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc,is required Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data to spot trends and deficiencies and make suggestions for improvements Excellent mechanical aptitude Strong organizational skills Ability to maintain accurate records, logs, and files Ability to work under own initiative Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and meet the needs for changing priorities •
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions.
