Inland Construction and Engineering Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated Shop Foreman to oversee and coordinate all shop operations related to our commercial, industrial, and federal construction projects. Learn more about us at www.icecontractor.com Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Lead daily shop operations, overseeing equipment maintenance, inventory, and logistics Schedule, assign, and monitor shop tasks to ensure on-time project readiness Ensure quality control and safety compliance on all shop procedures Collaborate with project managers and field teams to coordinate equipment and material needs Maintain accurate records of tools, materials, and equipment usage Train and mentor shop staff and promote a culture of safety and accountability Proactively identify and resolve issues that affect shop productivity or safety Support fabrication or minor equipment repairs as needed Uphold company values and represent ICE with professionalism
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a shop foreman or similar supervisory role in construction is preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple timelines Effective communication skills for coordinating with crews, vendors, and management Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols Comfortable working in a hands-on environment Willingness to learn company-specific systems and procedures
