About the Role As the Construction & Maintenance Operations Support Supervisor , you’ll lead a specialized support team that plays a critical role in the success of the Water Resources Department. This team includes employees who perform: TV Inspections, Utility Locating Services, Dispatch Operations, Second Shift Support, and Technical Work order Management.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range :

$69,858.00 – $79,838.00

Full Salary Range :

Work Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 6:15 am -4:45 pm •This position is considered service critical and the employee in this position is required to report to work during inclement weather conditions.•

Your Key Responsibilities:

Supervising daily activities and establishing priorities for the work group. Monitoring work order entries for accuracy and alignment with division goals. Compiling data to support ongoing maintenance planning and resource allocation. Coordinating across departments and divisions to align with City and departmental objectives. Investigating and resolving customer service complaints and interdepartmental claims. Reviewing and approving contract work related to sewer rehabilitation from TV inspections.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing technical or operations-based teams. .Familiarity with utility support functions such as inspections, dispatch, and work order systems. Proven ability to evaluate data, set priorities, and improve operational workflows. Fair Labor Standards Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or GED Valid Driver’s License 4+ years of directly related experience in construction, infrastructure, operation and maintenance and/or related experience. Grade 4 NC WPC Coll System Operator Grade

5 years supervisory experience in Construction & Maintenance System Back-up ORC experience Knowledge of City Personnel Policies
