Maintenance Lead Accentuate Staffing Smithfield, NC 27577 Accentuate Staffing is assisting a plastics manufacturing company in the Smithfield area who is looking for a Maintenance Lead to join their team. This is a direct hire position offering excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on hydraulic press systems and auxiliary equipment Lead efforts in developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules for all critical machinery Diagnose and repair issues in both electrical and hydraulic systems, with a strong focus on hydraulics Serve as the point person for OSHA-compliant lock-out/tag-out procedures Lead and participate in the company’s Safety Committee, promoting a proactive safety culture Handle facility maintenance tasks, including internal repairs and non-contracted projects Address and clean up fluid spills and oil leaks, while resolving underlying mechanical issues Participate in and help lead training efforts for other maintenance staff Consistently follow all safety protocols and ensure others do the same Promptly report safety hazards or incidents to appropriate supervisors Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and product quality
Requirements:
Technical training or coursework in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred Proven hands-on maintenance experience, particularly with hydraulic systems Prior supervisory or lead experience in an industrial maintenance role is strongly preferred Strong understanding of electrical wiring and mechanical systems Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) is a plus Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
