Lincolnton, NC Location Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Consults with management to analyze maintenance resource needs for repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks. Determines scope and priorities of projects, arranges TM schedules to support projects. Recommends and develops plans for maintenance systems development, budget, Hoshin, and staffing. Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization. Coaches/trains maintenance personnel on roles, responsibilities, and technical skills. May negotiate contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products. Is a “Super User’ of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software). Reviews, approves, and ensures the quality of work requests/work orders. Reviews work order backlog and sets priorities Reviews historical data and shift logs to prevent recurrence of problems Communicates daily with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to coordinate work plans and schedule based on equipment availability and criticality of the task to be performed. Communicates emergency work to maintenance technicians and adjusts daily schedule as necessary Tracks and visualizes projects/job/hoshin status Documents and follows-up with Maintenance team members regarding disciplinary matters. Ensures execution of PM and PdM plans. Sources spare parts, small equipment, tools, and contract services. Is responsible for Safety, LOTO, and Kaizen of these systems. Review application and compliance with quality, environmental, and business continuity policies, procedures and international standards associated with such management systems. Is involved in Continuous Improvement Activities through team leadership/participation.
