Maintenance Supervisor Confidential Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time $28 – $32 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Schematics Maintenance English Mid-level Supervising experience Maintenance management 4 years Full Job Description The primary job responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor is to maintain the physical integrity of the community, maintain a safe environment, cultivate high resident satisfaction, and assist in supervising all aspects of maintenance in the community. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Be knowledgeable of physical condition of property and correct unsafe conditions. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining system for timely and efficient handling of resident service requests. Assist in handling make-readies in a timely manner and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment. Assist in maintaining inventory of parts & supplies. Ensure 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.

Diagnose and perform maintenance/repair including:

A/C and heating systems; electrical and plumbing systems; water and sewer lines; stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings; roofing, gutters; tile, carpet, flooring; fireplaces, ceiling fans, appliances; shutters, doors, cabinets, windows; boilers, gas and electric; walls and ceilings; security systems; pool area, tile, spa; check/install/re-key locks; etc. Maintain accessible, accurate records pertaining to: service requests; preventative maintenance; safety systems; repair/replacement of major equipment; utility cutoffs, sewer clean-outs. Move appliances, equipment, furniture as needed. Maintain order and cleanliness in maintenance and storage areas; keep all areas locked and secured. Wear required uniform and maintain an appropriate appearance. Comply with all state/local laws and follow the company’s policies and procedures. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines including compliance with OSHA requirements. To occasionally assist other employees in any apartment management functions. High-Rise experience is required. Other duties, as assigned.
