Responsibilities:

Position Summary As the Manager of Heavy Maintenance Planning, you will impact PSA Airlines’ growth by overseeing the daily and strategic operations of the Heavy Maintenance Planning group. The scope of this role is to strategize, plan and account for all maintenance allocations and their financial impact from current date out to 5 years. Job Responsibilities Manage the daily activities of the Heavy Maintenance Planning group. Develop and oversee the training required to grow the talent in the heavy maintenance planning organization. Budget all heavy maintenance activity and participate in the continuous improvement of budget performance. Travel to Heavy Maintenance Facilities as required. Develop and maintain KPIs to track the performance in all areas pertaining to Heavy Maintenance or aircraft allocations. Work with all groups involved in aircraft inductions and retirements to develop seamless transitions with fleet counts. Manage, plan, and communicate all maintenance allocations to the required departments within PSA. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary reports as required by the Heavy Maintenance Planning Group. Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed by the Heavy Maintenance Planning group. Develop, refine, and implement Heavy Maintenance current year and 5-year plans via the approved optimization software. Maintain the technical and company manuals used in Heavy Maintenance Planning group. Establish, oversee, and audit the Heavy Maintenance Program at the prescribed cadence to ensure compliance. Lead the HMV Pre-Induction and Post Check Reviews for the respective MRO’s. Establish and oversee the optimum task yield based on the operation and other factors. Ensure Work Instructions are current and up to date. Recommend changes or new procedures to improve department and system performance. Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Specifics:

Qualifications Required Associate degree or equivalent. At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning. Working knowledge of aircraft inspections and maintenance programs. Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs. Display effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous supervisory experience. If hired, must be able to obtain a valid passport. Ability to speak/read/write in English. If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Advanced degree in an engineering field, aviation field, business administration or a closely related discipline. At least 2 years’ experience in Heavy Maintenance Planning. Knowledge of CRJ Maintenance. A&P License.

This is a supervisory position.

In absence, responsibilities delegated to Director of Planning and Heavy Maintenance.
