Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive building maintenance and engineering strategy that aligns with the company’s overall vision and goals. Set and achieve strategic goals for the department, including budget management and capital planning. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Monitor maintenance performance against company policies, procedures, and standards.

Team Management:

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance and engineering personnel. Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge. Manage staff performance, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.

Facility and Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, equipment, and systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures. Ensure that all maintenance activities are safe, clean, and meet quality standards.

Project Management:

Manage maintenance projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. Coordinate with other departments and external contractors as needed.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures. Analyze maintenance data to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as engineering, facilities management, or a related field.

Experience:

Significant experience in maintenance, repairs, and facility management. 5-10 years of maintenance and engineering management in a manufacturing setting is highly desired.

Leadership and Management Skills:

Proven ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage a team.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Budgeting and Financial Management Skills:

Ability to manage budgets and monitor expenditures.

Knowledge of Safety Regulations:
