We are currently searching for a Maintenance Supervisor for ourMaintenance Team in Greenville, NC. This role will report to thesite Maintenance Manager. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will planand lead the daily activities of a team of millwrights,electricians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, andreliability focused maintenance practices. You will also beresponsible for leading team meetings & trainings, identifyingsafety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinatingactivities with production teams to maximize productivity andminimize cost, and reducing waste while proactively addressingreliability concerns. Additionally, you will lead the team byproactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, andensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and proceduresin a fair and consistent manner. Key Functions Work with the teamto proactively identify safety issues, and take measures to addressconcerns Actively supervise maintenance activities to ensure safe,efficient, and quality work completion Utilize predictive andpreventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtimeEfficiently troubleshoot issues to meet volume and quality goalsImplement training processes to build the team’s technical skillsUtilize computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests,maintenance inventory management, and maintenance resourcedelegation High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degreepreferred At least 3 years’ experience in a maintenance supervisoryrole in an industrial environment Proven ability to lead a team tobe accountable and meet department metrics and goals Work-relatedexperience in leading and ensuring compliance with safetyinitiatives Knowledgeable in the areas of hydraulics, air systems,mechanical drives, mechanical components, installation methods,troubleshooting and repair techniques and methods, welding, andbasic industrial electrical Proven expertise in preventive andpredictive maintenance methods Ability to identify root cause ofproblems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action toprevent reoccurrence Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal andelectronic communication skills Demonstrated ability to raiseperformance by building and maintaining positive relationships withall associates through coaching and development Strong planning andorganizational skills Strong work ethic, good judgment, anddecision-making skills Track record of consistently demonstratingleadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishmentsin proactively influencing safety, environmental, quality,productivity, and people development Basic computer skills andproficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programsand internet skills Demonstrated results in achieving andsustaining business goals Knowledge of Maintenance Planningsoftware such as
SAP Compensation :
This role is eligible for ourannual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary rangeof $77,245 – $115,000 based on your level of skills,qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for ourAnnual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% ofbase pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two timesthat target.
