Position Summary Matlab, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the maintenance of production equipment and related systems at Matlab, Inc. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment through effective maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance programs, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5years of experience in mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, with strong knowledge of 3-phase power systems. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day equipment maintenance activities across facilities. Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality work performance. Receive, review, and prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and resource availability. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules in collaboration with production planning staff. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Perform regular inspections to identify current and potential maintenance needs. Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications to improve performance and reliability. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Support continuous improvement efforts through strategic planning and procedural enhancements. May contribute to departmental budgeting and capital improvement planning.

Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing a team, with full authority for personnel decisions. Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and processes. Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase power systems is required Strong understanding of motors, relays, switches, sensors, and circuit diagrams Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in elevated areas if needed Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed

Education:
