Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Asheboro, NC Responsible for coordinating of Maintenance Department staff. Ensures necessary repairs and preventative maintenance is performed in the maintenance of the physical plant, buildings, and grounds. Ensures application codes and standards are adhered to. Coordinates work schedule, manages the maintenance and operations of building equipment and systems; performs planned maintenance and repair inspections in compliance with policies and procedures of JCAHO, and administrative policies of Randolph Hospital. High school graduate with technical school training or associates degree preferred. Prefer to be licensed and certified in two or more of the following areas or have any equivalent work experience with at least 5 years experience: electrician, telecommunications, plumbing, CFC certified, Heating, ventilating, and cooling (HVAC), Bio-medical equipment. Knowledge of applicable building codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must have motor skills and ability to perform tasks, climb ladders, and lift 50 – 100 lbs (occasionally). Experience in performing tasks in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Must have prior experience in management and budget preparation.
