GENERAL SUMMARY

Our exclusive technology allows us to be at the forefront of innovation and quality in customized package printing. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for directing all activities of maintenance department personnel to ensure the physical plant’s equipment is operational. They will also be responsible for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servicing, utilities, efficiency of production machinery and equipment in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The position will be hands-on and will work across multiple departments within the warehouse focusing on Extrusion and Thermoforming Machines . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, effective leadership, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership:

Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Maintenance Strategy:

Develop, implement, and manage maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance. Include Metric/KPI’s established for maintenance.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment, including Thermoforming and Extrusion Departments.

Facilities Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance of facilities, (including building repairs, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.)

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and implement safety procedures to prevent injuries and equipment damage.

Continuous Improvement:

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production needs and goals.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management. Requirements:
Education, Skills and Requirements:
Experience:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a foam thermoforming and extrusion.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Technical Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and maintenance best practices.

PLC Knowledge:

Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance preferred

Electrical Troubleshooting:

Experience with electrical troubleshooting, including circuit analysis, fault detection, and repair.

Leadership Skills:

Proven leadership and management skills, with experience supervising maintenance teams.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement initiatives.
