Maintenance Manager What you will do Lets do this. Letschange the world. In this vital role you will report to the Sr.

F&E Manager and be responsible for providing technical andadministrative leadership to a group responsible forplanning/scheduling adherence, troubleshooting, repairing,maintaining and improving the reliability of GMP and non-GMPequipment at Amgen, North Carolina. Managerial responsibilitiesinclude establishing team strategies, objectives, goals, whileimproving team performance. Consistently achieving keymetrics/milestones. Supervising and technically developing directreports, and supporting Amgens continuous improvement culture.

Strategic / Managerial Meet regularly with key clients to findopportunities and establish the strategic direction for theMaintenance Team. Establish annual team goals and track progress /communicate to GMP F&E leadership team Develop staff throughannual Career Development Planning and acting as a role modelImprove team performance by conducting regular 1:1 meetings andusing Maximizing Amgens Performance (MAP) process : regularcoaching, mid-year and end of year reviews, compensation planning,and talent management planning Promote Operational Excellence andSafety through purposeful presence on the floor (Regular job taskwalk-through with staff members) As a member of the extendedleadership team, partner with maintenance managers to improveMaintenance support Provide Subject Matter Expertise to triage andresolve issues related to Maintenance process non-conformancesTechnical Leverage knowledge of GMP F&E Process, Mechanical andUtility systems and instrumentation to develop team capabilities indiagnosis and troubleshooting of issues Manage lifecycle assessmentand recommend replacement / upgrades as required to ensure highreliability Maintain awareness of relevant industry and regulatorytrends for calibration /instrumentation and maintenance Provideinput for responses to regulatory inspections or internal auditsrelating to instrument calibrations or maintenance programsLogistical / Administrative Manage staff resources and workschedules (vacations, on-call rotation, etc.) to ensure adequatestaff coverage and meet required PM calibration dates Ensure thatstaff maintain required training qualifications and are crosstrained to support multiple GMP functional areas as neededCoordinate resources to support capital projects and workactivities during maintenance shutdowns Manage department budgetand expenses May require second or third shift work What we expectof you We are all different, yet we all use our uniquecontributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications:

Highschool diploma / GED and 10 years of maintenance and/oroperations/manufacturing experience OR Associates degree and 8years of maintenance and/or operations/manufacturing OR experienceBachelors degree and 4 years of maintenance and/oroperations/manufacturing OR experience Masters degree and 2 yearsof maintenance and/or operations/manufacturing experience ORDoctorate degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in lifescience, technical or aligned field of study 6 years of relevantwork experience in operations/manufacturing environment 3 years ofexperience with regulated environments (i.e. c
