Position Summary:

Belko Landscaping is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Lawn and Snow Maintenance Manager to lead our seasonal field services. This dual-role position is central to ensuring the seamless delivery of lawn care services during the growing season and snow removal operations in the winter. The ideal candidate will thrive in dynamic environments, possess strong leadership skills, and bring a proactive mindset to equipment management, quoting, crew coordination, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Lawn Care Operations (Spring-Fall) Schedule and manage all lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and mulch. Monitor turf health and oversee seasonal cleanups and enhancement work. Inspect completed jobs to ensure quality standards are met and address service issues proactively. Snow & Ice Management (Winter Season) Plan and execute snow plowing, salting, and de-icing routes for commercial clients. Coordinate on-call response for storm events, monitor weather alerts, and ensure crew availability. Maintain snow equipment readiness and safety protocols for pre-storm, mid-storm, and post-storm operations. Quoting & Estimating Conduct site visits and prepare service estimates for new and existing lawn care accounts. Collaborate with the administrative team to finalize quotes and send proposals to customers. Track awarded contracts and manage transitions from estimate to active job scheduling. Team Management & Scheduling Supervise lawn and snow crews, delegate daily work orders, and manage team attendance and performance. Provide seasonal onboarding and safety training. Ensure proper use and care of all tools, vehicles, and machinery. Client Communication & Service Delivery Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, quoting, concerns, and service follow-up. Maintain job logs and update service software as required for billing and tracking. Operational Oversight Conduct site checks, review job profitability, and reports to leadership. Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for timely equipment repairs and replacements. Additional Responsibilities • Perform any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as needed to support the effective operations of Belko Landscaping . Flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential to success in this role. • Due to the nature of seasonal operations, this position may require availability during nights and weekends, especially during snow events or time-sensitive lawn care schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, snow operations, or quoting management Strong leadership and team coordination skills Working knowledge of turf health, snow operations, and equipment handling Experience preparing quotes and estimates for recurring maintenance contracts Availability for flexible and on-call winter hours Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
