We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of the Company’s equipment and facilities. This role ensures optimal operational efficiency, minimizes downtime, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations:

Manage and execute the Preventative Maintenance Program using Bigfoot CMMS. Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize production disruptions. Oversee the repair, upkeep, and overall performance of all production equipment.

Vendor and Project Management:

Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility and equipment improvements. Lead acquisition, fabrication, and integration of new production equipment and technologies.

Inventory and Systems Management:

Maintain adequate spare parts inventory to ensure minimal downtime. Supervise maintenance and operation of critical systems, including boilers, refrigeration, air handling, and wastewater treatment.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to OSHA and

USDA/FDA

food safety regulations. Maintain facility compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ensure the facility is secure and supports efficient operations.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability and safety. Provide training to ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and food defense protocols.

General Responsibilities:

Adhere to GMP rules, including hand washing, use of PPE (hairnets, ear plugs, eye protection, gloves, coats, etc.), and compliance with workplace color codes. Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety. Report any issues that could compromise food safety or quality to supervisors or quality personnel. Support food defense efforts by keeping external doors secured and reporting suspicious behavior.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production. Strong knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and FDA regulations. Proficiency with CMMS systems (e.g., Bigfoot CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Hands-on experience with boiler, refrigeration, and wastewater treatment systems is a plus. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and machinery. Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
