Job Description
Superintendent Landmark Companies, LLC 282 South Avenue, Fanwood, NJ 07023 Soho at Fanwood Station is seeking a hands-on, experienced Superintendent to oversee all building maintenance operations and serve as the company’s representative to residents and vendors, for our brand-new 58-unit luxury residential community . This is a rare opportunity to join a premier property from the ground up and take pride in maintaining a best-in-class living experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the building and grounds Handle emergency maintenance requests and general tenant service calls Manage apartment turnovers, including repairs and punch-list completion Supervise snow and ice removal and coordinate seasonal maintenance Ensure compliance with local inspections and building codes Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors Maintain secure inventory of tools, supplies, and materials Operate and maintain a company-owned pickup truck and mobile device Communicate effectively with property management, residents, and builder/contractor teams Provide limited support at nearby sister properties, as needed Qualifications Minimum 4 years of hands-on residential maintenance experience Strong technical skills across multiple trades such plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, and cabinetry Experience with high-end or new construction buildings preferred Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience a plus Understand complex building systems Excellent communication and organizational skills Tech-savvy with basic email and app usage Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Must live within 15 minutes of Fanwood or be willing to relocate to Union County Available to respond to after-hours emergencies via company-provided phone
