Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operations of both residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a service-first mindset. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, and capable of managing diverse maintenance needs while maintaining excellent relationships with tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and perform general maintenance for residential and commercial properties Diagnoses and complete repairs across multiple trades, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry Perform routine inspections and ensure safety and functionality of all building systems Handle and coordinate commercial property needs, with a focus on hardware, door hardware, and general building systems Respond promptly and professionally to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies Manage vendors and contractors as needed for larger repairs or inspections Maintain detailed records of service requests, repairs, and scheduled maintenance Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial building systems Excellent troubleshooting skills and a “jack-of-all-trades” approach Strong interpersonal and customer service skills—ability to work with a wide variety of tenants Leadership qualities to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
