General Responsibilities:

Catholic Guardian Services is seeking a highly organized Director of Maintenance to oversee the facility maintenance operations for its diverse portfolio, including offices, a clinic, a community center, and residences. This role involves managing vendor solicitations, service contracts, and maintenance department operations, while ensuring adherence to agency safety policies and reporting requirements.

Required Skills:

Associates Degree with 10 plus years of experience in facilities, maintenance or property management. OR Bachelors Degree with 7 plus years of experience in facilities, maintenance or property management. Supervisory experience of maintenance workers or trades personnel. Knowledge and experience maintaining FDNY certifications. NYS Driver’s license in good standing.

Desired Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop diverse maintenance team.
