Compensation:
Maintenance Supervisor II (Signals)
Salary Range:
1st Year – Entrance $112,717
2nd Year $114,313
3rd Year $118,338
Responsibility:
This position will include signal related administrative functions, such as new employee testing, statistical analysis, record keeping, auditing, signal interruption management, project control, reviewing technical documents, quality audits, departmental representation, routine interaction with field personnel and senior management, contractors and vendors. Other duties may include contract oversight that involves the Capital Construction and Repair & Renewal group, general Signal Shop activities including relay shop, material distribution and compressor squad tasks. Also, other tasks may require field surveys and equipment inspections, and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Position is only open to current Maintenance Supervisor II employees who have a permanent status in the title.
License Requirement:
A motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York with no restrictions. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.
Desired Skills:
Strong skills in communication, administration, supervision, planning and statistical analysis. Knowledge of business software, iSEIS/EAM and general PC skills. Also, a comprehensive knowledge of all NYCT signaling related to New Technology such as code systems, wheel detectors and event recorders. Familiarity with NYCT safety rules, labor contracts and in-house capital projects.
