Regional Maintenance Manager Note:
this is an on-site role, with frequent travel across NYS The Regional Maintenance Manager provides leadership, training and ensures the maintenance staff across the region has the resources necessary for the safe and efficient operation of fleet equipment. Key Responsibilities Coordinates with the Region VP and Area VP’s to create, improve, execute policies. Provides training and development opportunities to motivate and create opportunities for all employees . Coordinate s and ensures completion of maintenance activities with Maintenance Managers in an effort to maximize operational efficiency of equipment and minimize unscheduled downtime. Ensures safety compliance; maintains and continuously improves a Preventative Maintenance Program across the footprint. Inspects equipment maintenance needs through auditing. Develops objectives and standards of performance for projects within the Maintenance Department required to meet departmental, divisional and corporate goals and objectives. Builds and leads training efforts across the region and ensures the utilization of a high level of professionalism and organization. Administers established policies and procedures, serves as the main point of contact with strategic procurement to create cost savings through our purchasing power ; guides Maintenance Managers, Division Managers and Market Area Managers with maintenance budget preparation. Manages and provides leadership to team members by establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities. Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services. Preferred Qualifications 5-10 years leadership experience in an operations focused environment Experience overseeing fleet maintenance in the construction, logistics, waste, or related industries A solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
