Apartment Complex Superintendent JMD/Einsidler Management Corp.

Patchogue, NY Objective:

Ability to supervise and direct maintenance operations at two senior citizen apartment complexes in Suffolk County Position requirements

• Ability to supervise and direct maintenance crew
• Proven ability to produce, compile, and maintain work orders for required repairs and dispatch staff accordingly
• Arrange and interact with outside contractors where necessary, describing scope of work required
• Ability to interact effectively with senior citizen population and handle maintenance concerns where necessary.
• Ability to direct staff in effective and timely turnover of apartments for incoming new tenants and deliver in excellent condition
• Maintain and improve aesthetics of building and grounds
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and order as necessary
• Identify and report property and grounds defects Skills
• Knowledge and use of appropriate tools to make basic repairs to electrical and plumbing systems
• Basic carpentry and painting skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish speaking preferred Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum Two-five years in maintaining residential apartment complex
• High School diploma, some college preferred

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$26.70 – $29.30 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
