Read on and learn more about this role: How YOU Will Make an Impact Ensures that the PGT tire program is operated in an efficient manner and that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained in a timely and accurate manner to limit workflow interruptions and/or problems as well as ensure the safety of peopleassets on property locations. Managing all safety aspects of PGT’s Tire Program through on-site auditsR/O audits. Manage the tire national account with all the moving parts for each account. Review/Manage documented performance thresholds in the diverse applications currently being utilized. Perform routine audits at supplierscompany shops. Create skilled scrap analysis processoversee tire scrap out at company shops/vendors. Oversite/Approval on weekly company shop tire inventory reconciliations. Manage various inflation programs with measurable results through TMT, Tableau dashboards,prepare weekly/monthly reports reflecting time cost per mile, trendscost forecasting. Keep management apprised of all competitive products, practices, and distribution. Maintain familiarity with currentupcoming DOT, manufacture, and PGT operational regulations and the requirements for all tire/wheel-related services. Communicate with Fleet Managers on Tire Chargebacks with all company equipment Work with PGT Breakdown Team to make sure that tire services performed on the road are economical and meet PGT’s requirements. Authorize/Coordinate scheduled maintenance to be performed on company equipment by outside maintenance contractors and/or companies. Provide accurate trackingreporting of casings. Review work orders and time spent on tire jobs on a daily/weekly basis to ensure accuracy, quality,efficiency of shop performance. Provide input/recommendations during the vehicle spec process of new methods and/or systems that would improve performance. Oversee prompt computerization of repair orders and accompanying information. What YOU Need to Succeed This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Able to make strategic decisions with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
