Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician to take on the role of Flat Rate Shop Foreman.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, managing technician productivity, and ensuring high-quality repairs in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong background in automotive repair, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:
- Oversee and manage a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance and support. Work directly with the service advisors and service manager to achieve daily/ monthly goals.
- Assign/ Dispatch and prioritize repair jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. 2.

Technical Expertise:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and technology.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques and complete all online training and scheduled factory training classes to obtain master certification.
- Provide technical support and training to technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency. Assist technicians to ensure proper diagnosis of vehicles. 3.

Quality Control:
- Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Review completed work for accuracy and completeness before returning vehicles to customers. 4.

Customer Interaction:
- Engage with customers to explain repair services, answer questions, and address concerns. Road-test with customers to verify concerns when needed. Engage in second time visits with technician for repeat concerns.
- Maintain a customer-focused environment, ensuring satisfaction with services provided. 5.

Inventory and Shop Management:
- Oversee shop equipment and tools, ensuring they are well-maintained and in good working order and report any issue to the service manager. 6.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Review regular daily and monthly reports on technician productivity and shop performance metrics.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- ASE certification is a plus.

MUST HAVE PA. STATE INSPECTION AND EMISSIONS LICENSE

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced automotive repair shop environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy parts and equipment as needed.

Compensation:
- Competitive flat rate pay structure based on experience and performance along with weekly and monthly bonus incentives based on individual technician and shop performance.
