What You Will Do Oversees beach parks parking to include parking management and enforcement Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and reviews the work of staff responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and remodeling of Town beach parks; Conducts inspections of the beach and Town beach parks Maintains accurate records of Town maintenance activities Maintains proper parking conditions in accordance with Town ordinances Performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs Monitors beach operations Assists in the recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of the seasonal employees Assists with daily collection of revenue from parking lots and meters Assists with the Town’s recycling program Regularly inspects beach parks to identify and address safety/code compliance issues Prepares for and coordinates beach-oriented special events Recommends and implements course of action to ensure an expedient and satisfactory resolution to staff and beach patron concerns Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of related experience to include general and/or park maintenance, construction, or property management experience and some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
