The Maintenance Manager directs daily operations to ensureoptimal performance of both the department and the manufacturingplant, with a strong focus on electrical systems and controls. Thisrole blends hands-on troubleshooting with strategic oversight,emphasizing electrical engineering expertise to drive reliabilityand efficiency across all production equipment. Client Details Myclient, just 30 minutes North of Charleston, develops specializedmaterials used in a variety of industrial applications, includingaerospace and manufacturing. Operating internationally, itemphasizes innovation and high-performance solutions to meetcomplex technical needs. Description You will report to the PlantManager and be responsible for: Leading/facilitating Maintenancemeetings Driving Lean, TPM, and 5S improvements in the departmentMonitoring WIP, SPI, raw materials, and spare parts Establishingschedules and manpower, addressing shortfalls, and implementing RTGactions Reviewing Supervisors’ standard work Coordinating withdepartments to improve throughput Approving requisitions andmanaging department budgets Maintaining visual control of CI boardsOverseeing and improving Preventative Maintenance and Calibrationprograms Providing oversight of all purchasing activities ManagingStockroom, Maintenance, and Purchasing Coordinator personnelDriving employee engagement initiatives: Approving merit increasesConducting performance evaluations Initiating employee recognitionMonitoring and evaluating training needs Profile A successfulcandidate will have Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent 3-5years of experience in a manufacturing environment PLC, servomotor, and motion control familiarity Desire to go into managementFamiliarity working with technicians Troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Job Offer The candidate will receive: 5 yearsworking with electrical, electronics, and mechanical maintenanceStrong environmental and safety knowledge Electrical Bachelor’s orequivalent experience preferred Preventative maintenance experienceLeadership experience in a manufacturing environment MPI does notdiscriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexualorientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age,disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on anindividual’s status in any group or class protected by applicablefederal, state or local law.
