ICG.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Must have strong working knowledge of lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) program and LOTO procedures
  • Builds, installs, maintains and repairs a variety of production and building equipment and machinery.

Including fully automated component saws, truss tables, press gantries, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, circuits and control panels. Also included is the maintenance of forklifts, trucks, trailers, nail guns, staple guns, skill-saws, chop saws and other operational equipment in the plant

  • Disassembles equipment and determines extent of necessary repairs and reassembles
  • Follows prescribed preventative maintenance schedule in oiling, greasing and calibration of machinery. Also establishes predictive maintenance schedules and repairs and schedules accordingly
  • Fabrication and welding and installation techniques
  • Ability to work as a team member towards overall Company objectives
  • Identify current and future maintenance requirements by maintaining rapport with management, engineering, the operation’s team, and quality assurance
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions specifically with machine guarding and operations of machinery and plant equipment
  • Manage production efficiencies by determining maintenance work priorities, Scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment
  • Manage and supervise efficient, dependable utility resources
  • Directs maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing BCS policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices
  • Design, implement, and modify preventative maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance manuals, reports and statistics, inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for nonconformance with operational standards
  • Schedule and manage maintenance employees and follow up on results of activities
  • Manage the sourcing of parts under warranty with manufactures and parts not under warranty with outside vendors
  • Manage and supervise tool and part inventory
  • Works with Operations Manager and Human Resources to maintain maintenance staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
  • Maintain and improve professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Basic computer skills.

Ability to determine repair needs and make necessary repairs.

Demonstrated ability to operate machine tools.

Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring equipment.
