What You’ll Do Delegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors to accomplish maintenance needs as well as hands-on involvement when the need arises
Establish strategies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain or increase production in conjunction with management and division priorities
Fabricates parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment
Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipment
Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and components
Operates and troubleshoots issues with the mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks, material handler and other equipment
Operate mobile equipment: loaders, forklifts, trucks and other equipment to troubleshoot
Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed
Effectively communicates with co-workers and customers in a positive manner
What You’ll Need Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience to include repair on diesel engines
Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, electrical, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, fluid pumping systems, and heat transfer
Experience maintaining material handlers, excavators, tractor trailers, and hydraulic equipment
Hands on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair abiliites
Must be able to read and understand Hydraulic & Electrical Schematics, combustion engine repair, PM, and trouble shoot electrical and hydraulic problems
Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
