Job Description

Maintenance Manager – DC 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Blythewood, SC 29016 The Manager, Maintenance role will lead the maintenance strategy across all Supply Chain Facilities). The focus is to develop the team and refine the maintenance & material handling equipment (MHE) strategy and asset utilization across Supply Chain FC/DC’s. This role will utilize problem solving and management of change techniques to maximize equipment reliability and uptime. In addition, develop processes and systems to drive sustainability in equipment performance including Preventative Maintenance and ultimately Predictive Maintenance.

Including but not limited to:

Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes preventative and predictive methodologies and MOC (management of change) across all locations. Drive maintenance

Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes and improve customers experience Excellent technical and operational knowledge of mechanical ,electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Knowledge of building automation system such as Intelligrated sorter is preferred. Experience in the development of preventive maintenance programs, diesel fire pumps, air handling units and roof top air conditioning units. Proactive problem solving skills; ability to recommend and implement solutions Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems controlled by computers programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment Responsible for all aspects of management of maintenance staff, including performance management and the development of internal and external resources and capabilities to drive the improvement of asset reliability and the performance of the maintenance team. Develop and manage budget – all in support of corporate safety, productivity, and new business development strategies. Must maintain a safe, effective and functional facilities by directing Maintenance Teams with the installation, maintenance, equipment repairs, and the utility systems for multiple warehouses. In addition, maintain building and MHE in full compliance to OSHA requirements and the safety, compliance and preventive maintenance programs. Identifies current and future maintenance requirements by establishing rapport with management, engineering, and production personnel and technicians to understand maintenance requirements at the warehouse. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual maintenance budget; capital budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Ensures production operations by determining work priorities and for onsite Maintenance Teams. Supports product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans; discussing equipment needs and modifications with design engineers; coordinating activities of technicians and workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment. Designs, implements, and modifies preventive maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics; inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards. Directs maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with all

regulations and requirements. Ensures Supply Chain Facilities compliance with mechanical, electrical and all other municipal and state codes. Offer guidance to senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end of life (EOL) issues using ROI, and other analytical techniques Leads Maintenance onsite teams to resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and corporate personnel. Ensures maintenance operational requirements completed by scheduling and assigning employees; follows up on work results, adjust schedules to accommodate work load and operational needs. Supports maintenance team by selecting, training and developing employees. Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
