MAU is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Manager for our client in Duncan, SC. As a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, repair operations, and regulatory compliance of a fleet consisting of over 80 trucks and 300 trailers. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Occasional after-hours coordination (approximately 1-2 calls per week), shared among the team
Required Education and Experience
3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance or repair
Preferred Experience
CDL-A license (preferred but not required)
General Requirements
Strong knowledge of truck and trailer mechanical systems and DOT compliance
Proficiency with telematics systems (e.g., Samsara, Motive), Excel, Outlook, and other cloud-based tools
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to fleet oversight
Interest in leadership development and long-term fleet ownership responsibilities
Essential Functions
Schedule and track maintenance activities using digital systems and telematics platforms
Manage repair operations and negotiate service pricing with external vendors
Support drivers during breakdowns with professionalism and efficiency
Perform DOT inspections and provide training to team members on inspection procedures
Implement inspection programs to reduce repair costs and improve fleet performance
Conduct occasional visits to other yards for equipment inspections and driver engagement
Coordinate after-hours emergency repairs as needed
Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
