Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician Position Available In York, South Carolina

Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician EmployBridge Rock Hill, SC 29730 We are now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our weekend shift. Friday-Sunday 7:00pm-7:00am night shift (36 hours/week) The Maintenance position is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes. Must have strong electrical experience to perform this job. Duties

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

o Perform mechanical and electrical skills that include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC’s, and Ladder Logic. o Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on machines, tools, and equipment. o Perform root cause analysis, as needed, to increase serviceability and reliability of equipment to increase performance.

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems, replace or repair parts, testing, and adjusting.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Complete assigned projects as scheduled and within budget.
• Ensure successful testing of equipment to ensure proper operation after repairs.
• Create a proactive environment instead of a reactive environment. Skills
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic, and electrical drawings as well as work orders to perform required maintenance, and services.
• Possess knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), Allen-Bradley, Siemens Controls, and drive components .
• Possess Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical components, and 24VDC/480VAC electrical systems .
• Display aptitude in using various hand and power tools (screwdrivers, hammers, drills etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers) Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in the industry Education & Experience Requirements
• Have High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). College or technical degree is encouraged but not required.
• Appropriate certifications; from a vocational school or military or completion of apprenticeship.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Basic testing meters/tools are required.
• All applicants must have steady work history with a good attendance record. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. during a shift
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching, up to 12 hours a day.
