Maintenance Director Position Available In York, South Carolina

Harbor Chase of Riverwalk is a luxury senior living community in the Riverwalk Neighborhood. We have a full time Director of Maintenance position available for a career oriented person with a minimum of 3 years experience running a maintenance department in a Retirement Community preferably. Experience leading a team and holding them accountable to standards. is critical.

Essential Functions:

Inspects residence and grounds regularly identifying any areas in need of repairs Promptly responds to all requests for repairs or maintenance concerns Performs Manager On Duty responsibilities when assigned Assists with resident move-ins and move-outs Prepares resident rooms and apartments for new residents Schedules a variety of services the community needs in order to be in compliance and to deliver a clean and well run community for our Residents Conducts regular safety inspections, fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, etc. regularly Participates in training associates in safety issues, emergency situations and safe practices Participates in the recruitment and hiring of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry associates 3 years experience leading direct reports that includes the housekeeping, transportation and Assist. Comfortable with computers, pulling reports and including information in forms and documents Experience managing competing priorities Time management for yourself and your direct reports on a timekeeping system Ability to communicate with Residents and Employees Problem resolution Sense of urgency Servant Leadership Excellent communication skills Proven track record of handling stressful situations with ease and performance

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:

High school education.
