The Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CNC machines within a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and overseeing a team of maintenance technicians. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise in CNC systems, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, and a commitment to safety and operational efficiency. This position plays a critical role in supporting production targets and maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machines and related equipment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and extend machinery lifespan. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on a wide range of CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, routers). Maintain accurate maintenance logs, parts inventory, and work order documentation. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.

Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience with CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting. 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
