We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Shop Foreman to lead and support our technicians while maintaining top-tier service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive Repair Orders (ROs) from Service Advisors and dispatch to appropriate technicians. Accurately log ROs in Google Docs upon receipt and remove them when work is completed and the vehicle is picked up. (

Note:

Waiters are not input unless their status changes.) Monitor WIP (Work In Progress) and Parts sheets to manage workflow efficiently. Track technician performance and ensure job efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Support technicians in completing required training and meeting monthly Master Training goals. Schedule lube and line techs to optimize shop productivity. Ensure adherence to dealership core processes. Perform final checks on all completed repairs to confirm quality, cleanliness, and readiness for delivery. Hold technicians accountable for performance. Conduct daily morning meetings with shop staff to review current workflow, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed. Assist with technician flag hour accountability and ensure fair, accurate tracking.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory or lead technician role preferred. Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and workflow management. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced service environment. Comfortable with using digital tools (Google Docs, tracking sheets, etc.) Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality control.
