Maintenance Manager / Supervisor 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 25570 22, Mc Kenzie, TN 38201 This position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the maintenance department such as setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining presses, milling machines, and furnaces as well as fabricating metal parts and tools as needed. Enforce safe practices by following established company safety guidelines outlined by OHSA Direct technicians in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Assist in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment Direct technicians engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery Requisition and stock spare parts Maintain programming of all equipment Interpret specifications, blue prints, and work orders Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the production floor and maintenance department Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments Develop a proactive approach to maintenance to anticipate and minimize downtime for equipment Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program incorporating daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules
