Your Role Your Role Encore is looking for a Lead of Facilities Maintenance to manage and optimize facility maintenance across all four of our business units: Encore Leasing, Encore Fleet Services, Encore Conversion Group, and Bus For Sale. This role is essential for someone with a solid background in facilities management who can handle all maintenance tasks efficiently and lay the groundwork for future expansion, including overseeing additional team members.
Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Oversight:
Manage and engage in all aspects of facility maintenance across current locations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
Preventive Maintenance :
Develop and implement routine inspections and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
Facility Upkeep :
Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
Troubleshooting :
Quickly diagnose and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
Safety and Compliance :
Maintain adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Expansion Support :
Lead the setup and maintenance of new facilities as the company grows.
Vendor Coordination :
Manage relationships with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
Documentation :
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Team Leadership :
Initially handle all tasks independently and eventually oversee additional maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Experience in safety and compliance, ideally with an OSHA certification Must be available to be on-call as needed for emergency maintenance and repairs. Nice to Have Capability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various physical conditions. Experience managing facilities for an apartment complex or large warehouse with multiple locations. Flexibility to travel to other locations for routine maintenance and management.
