Full Job Description Summary:

As the Chief Engineer, you will lead all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure an exceptional guest and associate experience while maximizing efficiency and asset longevity. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Oversee all engineering operations, including building maintenance, mechanical systems, and energy management. Lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and performance management. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, brand standards, and White Lodging policies. Manage department budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditure projects. Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations. What You’ll Bring Proven leadership experience in engineering, facilities management, or maintenance, preferably in hospitality. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Budget management and cost-control experience. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to train and lead a team. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and hotel operating systems. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
