Certification Leadership Communication skills Hotel experience Full Job Description Job Overview Stay Minty is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance operations across our portfolio of vacation rental properties . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vacation rental or hotel maintenance , with proven leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, general facilities upkeep, and project coordination. This role is essential in ensuring our properties are safe, well-maintained, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences at all times. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and manage the maintenance team to ensure effective and timely execution of tasks. Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment, property systems, and building infrastructure. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders, schedule tasks, and monitor equipment performance. Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to guide troubleshooting and repair efforts. Fabricate or modify parts as needed to maintain or improve equipment performance. Conduct regular property walkthroughs and inspections to proactively identify issues before they affect guest experience. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Operations, and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless and non-disruptive maintenance activities. Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols , industry standards, and local building codes. Maintain accurate maintenance records , supply inventories, and assist in vendor management as needed. Required Experience and Skills Proven supervisory experience in maintenance within vacation rentals, hospitality, or hotel environments . Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repair systems . Experience in project management and team coordination within a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Skilled in facilities management , including budget oversight and resource allocation. Proficient in using CMMS platforms , mobile work order apps, and standard productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and be on-call for emergencies when required. Preferred Qualifications Technical certifications (HVAC, Electrical, OSHA, etc.) Familiarity with short-term rental compliance and turnover requirements Experience managing multi-site maintenance operations
