Lead Maintenance Technician Nottingham North and Whittle Springs Apartments Chattanooga, TN 37415 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Maintenance professional to oversee and manage maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in HVAC, gas heat, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for guiding a part-time maintenance technician while also performing hands-on tasks as needed. Duties Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing training and support to ensure high-quality work standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues including water use overages and locating potential leaks. Maintain and repair all areas of property and equipment. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Collaborate with other maintenance teams to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance operations. Requirements Proven experience in multi family residential maintenance, with a strong background in all aspects of maintenance including HVAC. Ability to fabricate components or parts when required for repairs or upgrades. HVAC certification required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
