THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR CURRENT FLC MIDDLETON MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES ONLY
- + Coordinate and lead the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders and scheduled tasks.
+ Assign maintenance tasks based on priority, skill level, and operational needs. + Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life. + Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems as needed. + Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. + Support the Maintenance Manager in planning projects, ordering parts, and managing inventory. + Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to enhance team performance and technical skills. + Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment history, and compliance documentation. + Communicate regularly with operations and management to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize production disruptions. + Recommend improvements to maintenance processes, tools, and equipment to increase efficiency and reliability. + Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Maintenance Manager. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or a related field preferred. + 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, or facilities maintenance, with 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred. + Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, and industrial equipment maintenance + Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics + Basic computer skills required (e.g., MS Office, maintenance software, email) Preferred Skills and Abilities + Excellent leadership and team management skills. + Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Must be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and make decisions under pressure.
