Lead Maintenance Technician Hail & Cotton, In.c Springfield, TN 37172

Position Overview:

Responsible for performing daily mechanical and electrical operations of the factory. Maintain, trouble shoot and repair factory equipment in a timely manner to keep down time at a minimum.

Work Instructions, Duties and Responsibilities:

(including but not limited to the following)

• Mechanical trouble shooting and repairs to be performed on multiple types of equipment to; conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, steam boiler, air compressors
• Electrical trouble shooting and installation of components; 3 phase and single-phase motor wiring, electrical control repairs, motor starters, lighting repair and installation
• Arc and Tig welding to repair or fabricate equipment parts as needed
• Use Plasma cutting equipment and acetylene torch to make repairs
• Maintain parts inventory to adequate levels for repairs
• Generate and complete issued work orders/maintenance request forms
• Comply with all health, safety and environmental policies

Quality Control Checks:

• Complete the necessary ISO/QMS documents and maintain records to show compliance
• Be aware of all requirements of

ISO 9001

2015 for the Maintenance area

• Be familiar with all working instructions and procedures that pertain to

ISO/QMS Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial factory maintenance required
• Electrical training and knowledge of three phase and single-phase systems
• Mechanical skills needed to trouble shoot and repair industrial equipment
• Must communicate and work well with other employees
• Supply necessary hand tools for the job
• Must be flexible to work long hours and work weekends when necessary
• Must have good leadership skills, experience in operating forklift, scissors lifts and articulating man lift
• Experience and training in steam boiler operations is beneficial
• Experience with operating hand and power too
