Maintenance Supervisor Tree Tops Resort of Gatlinburg 290 Sherman Clabo Road, Gatlinburg, TN 37738 Maintenance Manager How you will make an impact: Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, plans, prioritizes, check and maintain all exterior and interior systems, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, gas, appliance, sprinkler systems, elevators, pool, hot tubs, and landscaping. Perform routine maintenance checks and other interior unit checks as set forth by resort manager. Evaluates facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Monitor resort for safety issues. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Maintain the inventory of the maintenance department within parameters of the budget. Create controls to monitor and oversee inventory. Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary Must be hands-on with the daily maintenance of the resort Ability to attend to guests, staff and other department heads in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner Strong customer service as well as written and oral communication skills Organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize various project and be able delegate daily workload Ability to handle sensitive material with the utmost discretion and confidentiality Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends are a must, holidays are a must and to cover on-call shifts if/when necessary Helpful qualifications, education, training / certifications, and experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a manager-level facilities maintenance Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with at least two year’s hands on experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial, or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities. HVAC certification (EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required: Type I and II or Universal).
