High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of supervisory experience with a minimum of one (1) year of custodial experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. This posting is hiring for multiple positions. This position will be assigned to work either on the University of Memphis Main Campus, or the University of Memphis Downtown Law School (located in downtown Memphis). Ability to be flexible to address after hours emergencies when necessary.

$18.00 per hour
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Knowledge of various hard surface floor care and carpet care equipment and chemicals.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
Ability to keep the premises clean and orderly.
Ability to interact with staff, students, and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
Ability to manage stressful situations
Adaptable to change
Excellent supervisory and people management skills with a demonstrated commitment to build and maintain a strong team
Proficient with MS Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel
