Summary:

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with expertise in stamping dies, press operations, and automotive manufacturing to lead maintenance efforts and optimize equipment reliability.

Requirements:

Experience working with and repairing dies and stamping/press machines. Supervisory experience managing hourly employees in maintenance departments. Ability to pass drug and background checks.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of preventative maintenance work instructions on dies/presses. Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques, thermal imaging, motors, boards, gears, and couplings.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and tool & die personnel. Manage maintenance operations for stamping presses (mechanical/hydraulic), transfer systems, and auxiliary equipment. Oversee the maintenance and repair of stamping dies including preventative programs, changeovers, and troubleshooting. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, work orders, and long-term reliability plans. Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and internal company policies. Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance budgets effectively. Analyze equipment failures; implement root cause analysis and corrective actions. Drive uptime improvements using lean manufacturing practices.
