Corrections Maintenance Crew Supervisor 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 108 Security Circle, McMinnville, TN 37110 Job Summary The Corrections Maintenance Crew Supervisor position consists of supervising a crew of inmate workers, as they complete maintenance tasks for the Sheriff’s Office and county. The crew supervisor will operate a county vehicle and transport the inmate crews to the locations of their work. The supervisor will also ensure that all assigned work is completed safely. Duties Transport inmates from the jail to there areas of work responsibility. Monitor inmate activities while in your custody. Be able to contact emergency services during medical emergencies and in the case of an inmate escape. Ensure that all assigned duties are completed, in a safe manner. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid) are preferred. At least 10 years working with inmate work crews. Strong conflict management abilities with a focus on de-escalation techniques. Must pass background checks and any required pre-employment assessments Upon appointment, must complete facility training.
