Job Description

  • 7/7 Rotational schedule in Mentone, TX with housing provided
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on a variety of oilfield equipment, including engines, compressors, and production systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on Caterpillar Natural Gas Engines (3300, 3500, and 3600 series).
  • Service and maintain Ariel compressors, including valve changes, pressure testing, and rebuilds.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating within safety and environmental compliance standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and operations staff to identify equipment improvements and implement solutions.
  • Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for job completion.
  • Support company safety culture by following all safety protocols and participating in safety meetings and training.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with oilfield equipment.
  • Proven experience working with Cat Natural Gas Engines (3300, 3500, 3600 series) and Ariel Compressors.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a field environment and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
