The Millwright will be responsible for assembling machined, fabricated, and purchased components or parts in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. This role is crucial in promoting and supporting the success of our company. Join us to be part of a team that values precision, safety, and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities Stage, set, and connect assembly components for projects. Use various measuring tools to verify fits and finishes. Follow blueprints to set up assembly components to specification. Align shafts and couple them to gearboxes. Determine the differences between various fits and finishes needed for final assembly. Be self-motivated and proactive in addressing needs and issues. Understand upcoming work and requirements, communicating needs before they impede production. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Adhere to safety rules and report equipment malfunctions to the proper authority. Perform other tasks as instructed by supervision. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (fractions, decimals, and trigonometry). Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and transit levels. Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings. Experience operating overhead and jib cranes. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Capability to solve complex technical problems with limited direction.
