The Representative II, Production Planning & Control role for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing production, supply plans and forecasts, along with availability of material and manufacturing capacity. This includes identifying and maintaining appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. Plans production, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Prepares schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. This position is part of the East Region Supply Chain Team located in Florence and Hebron, KY and will be on-site. You will be a part of the KRM (Kentucky Reagent Manufacturing) Procurement Team and report to the Manager Materials & Planning responsible for production planning, tactical procurement, shipping & receiving, along with overall material flow of the site. - Apply planning strategies, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective business solutions
- Cost improvements including Excess and Obsolete materials, Cycle Counting, and aged inventory scrap
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in OTD, and related KPIs/objectives by leveraging DBS tools and the change management process.
- Drive the analysis and review of demand data to support purchasing and planning decisions both short and long term to ensure continuity of supply.

The essential requirements of the job include: - Bachelors degree in field with 2+ years of experience, Masters degree with 0-2 years of experience.
- Self-driven, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult and/or ambiguous situations.
- Team player with strong customer orientation and ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience applying lean principles in a variety of situations in functions/areas supporting Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel 5% travel, overnight, within U.S.
- Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Prior experience working in an FDA/ISO regulated environment preferred
- Demonstrated customer focus and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from leaderships point of view.
