Description:
Position Title:

J1 Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright, Welder, OR Pipefitter

Pay Rate:

$35.62/hr. to $42.74/hr. ($.68 to $1.66/hr. shift allowance)
Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Sign On Bonus:

New hires are eligible for a sign on bonus of $2,500.

Relocation Bonus:

New hires are eligible for up to $10,000 in relocation assistance for those that relocate more than 75 miles from the Port Wentworth Mill.

The Job You Will Perform:

Routine maintenance work
Replacing valves & gaskets,
Basic welding, repacking pumps & valves
Forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations
Cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement,
Repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements
Repair of mechanical drive systems.

The Skills You Will Bring:

Must be 18 years or older
Eligible for employment in the US
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Basic computer skills
Able to function in a team environment.
5 or more years of Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience in any of the following

Maintenance Skill Areas:
MILLWRIGHT, WELDING, OR PIPEFITTING.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in any of the IP Core Maintenance skills or related disciplines. (Millwright, Welding, OR Pipefitting)
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
Strong math/physics understanding.
Millwright backgrounds on the mechanical side.
SAP Experience
