Thiele Kaolin Company 520 Kaolin Road Sandersville, Georgia 31082 478-552-3951 Employment Opportunity Mechanic Thiele Kaolin Company, a leading provider of tailored mineral solutions, is currently recruiting for a Mechanic. This position is located in Wrens, Georgia.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Align sheaves, sprockets, etc.
- Rebuild small reducers
- Perform weekly preventative maintenance activities
- Operate hydralift and other shop equipment
SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient at cutting and welding
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations and abide by them
- Interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors
- Willingness to attend all necessary training
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or lead a team
- Knowledge of industrial equipment at the plant and mines and understand how it works
- Have a thorough knowledge of tools and their proper use
- Use fall protection equipment and respiratory protection equipment as appropriate
- Ability to drive/operate Thiele owned equipment
- Two or four-year degree from an accredited school or technical college, or two years’ experience in a maintenance field Thiele offers excellent pay and a comprehensive fringe benefits package.
