Job Duties:
- Perform routine checks on machines and equipment to mitigate damages and eliminate downtime.
- Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the course of performing duties.
- Coordinate with other departments and employees as needed to minimize interruption of production processes.
- Maintain records as required related to the maintenance and housekeeping functions.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Close work orders in the preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure the work area is free of hazardous objects and substances.
- Perform 5s activities on tools, machines, assembly, and maintenance areas.
- Carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Safe operation of a man lifts and fork truck.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one-year preventive maintenance experience desired.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
- Requires the ability to read PM instructions, find desired equipment within the facility, and perform the listed instructions.
- Follow moderatelyplex verbal and/or written instructions.
- Training in inspection and maintenance procedures are desired.
- Must be able to perform basicputer functions.
